Be careful ....

The title led me to expect actual readings for use with my lit classes. Common Core recommendations encourage students to mark-up texts for analysis, and that is impossible with our textbooks, so I am always looking for passages each student can work on and keep. I had hoped the lessons here would include reproducible stories, speeches, poems, etc.
My rating, then, does not reflect the quality of the lessons in this book. I returned it and bought Smokey Daniels' book Texts and Lessons for Teaching Literature.
