Chapter Tests Are Full of Errors

My son is using this book in his fifth grade science class. For the second time this year everyone in his class failed their science test (these are a group of smart kids, too). After taking a closer look at the test I found numerous errors. Several questions were answered correct by the students (marked as wrong) but were wrong on the master test. For instance, the test asks a question about what is true with asexual reproduction in plants. The book's answer to the question is that "the offspring plant has a mix of genes from the parents." This is wrong. There are not "parents" in asexual reproduction; just one parent. This is just one of four incorrect questions (out of 17)on the test I have found so far. This is inexcusable and sloppy. Would not recommend this book to anyone.
